Agra (India): The incident of firing on farmer in Bhatta Parsol village in Greater Noida has highlighted the inequitable land acquisition policy in UP, and the inability of the Chief Minister to handle genuine grievances of the public.

Agra (India): Angry farmers in Etmadpur tehsil of Agra, went on a rampage early Sunday, pelting stones at police, setting fire to vehicles and furniture belonging to the Jaypee group's Express Highway camp office. Violent acts were reported from two spots near Chalesar and Etmadpur. Senior officials however said the situation had been brought under control.
