Aligarh (India): A project on ‘Migration, poverty and access to healthcare: A multi-centric study on people’s access and health system’s responsiveness in fast-growing smaller cities’ has been granted to Department of Community Medicine, JN Medical College, Aligarh Muslim University by the Health System Research Division of Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), New Delhi.

Agra (India): Angry farmers in Etmadpur tehsil of Agra, went on a rampage early Sunday, pelting stones at police, setting fire to vehicles and furniture belonging to the Jaypee group's Express Highway camp office. Violent acts were reported from two spots near Chalesar and Etmadpur. Senior officials however said the situation had been brought under control.
