Under ‘Make in India’ initiative of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, an Indian company has successfully developed a critical ‘Chemotherapy Infusion Set’ which will make treatment of cancer convenient and affordable in the country.
Launching the first indigenously developed ‘set’ in Bangaluru, the management of the Mysuru-based Glowtronics along with Medikraft Services, claimed it was a major advancement, as presently all chemotherapy devices are imported into India. Glowtronics is the first Company to launch this product, and the first unit to secure a License to manufacture it in India.
Dr Rajesh and Dr Sachin of HCG, Bangaluru spoke about nutrition awareness during the Onco therapy on the occasion. The event was held at Hotel Shangri-La, Bangalore attended by senior members of the Oncology fraternity. Dr Somashekhar of Manipal Comprehensive Cancer Center presided over the event.
