Analysing cases is an essential part of management course curriculum. Dr. Ahmed’s book is a treatise for management students who find analysing cases an insurmountable task. When asked what inspired her to write the book, she said, "On one hand, students have been an inspiration to me; whose constant fear of handling cases and query on how to go about it motivated me to list a few simple formula and framework for analysing cases and on the other, it was the editorial team of Vikalpa-The Journal of Decision Makers, published from The Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad that has recognized my efforts by publishing 17 of my case analyses in a series."
