New Delhi: President Ram Nath Kovind presented the 65th National Film Awards here on Thursday.

Mumbai: State of Madhya Pradesh has been conferred the award for the ‘Most Film Friendly State’ for its efforts towards easing filming in the State by creating a well-structured website, film-friendly infrastructure, offering incentives, maintaining databases, undertaking marketing and promotional initiatives, unanimously by the Jury from among the 16 States that participated.

New Delhi: 65th National Film Awards 2017 were announced here by the various juries on Feature Films, Best Writing on Cinema and members of Dadasaheb Phalke Award and Non-Feature films. Veteran actor Vinod Khanna has been awarded the Dadasaheb Phalke Award for his contribution to Indian Cinema.

In late 2014, released security footage from an Atlantic City casino showed a professional athlete striking his then-fiancée in the face, rendering her unconscious. The woman in the video—who had since married the athlete—was criticized for remaining in an abusive relationship.
