India’s first semi-high speed train christened as ‘Gatimaan Express’ capable of running at a maximum speed of 160 KMPH introduced on Tuesday onwards. The train will run between H. Nizammuddin station and Agra Cantt. Station. (Read in Hindi: ऐसी है भारत की पहली सेमी-हाईस्पीड रेल ‘गतिमान एक्सप्रेस’)

New Delhi: NHAI Board has cleared the Rampur -Rudrapur-Kathgodamsection of NH-87 that connects Uttar Pradesh to the state of Uttarakhand, to be built on BOT Hybrid-Annuity mode in two packages. The packages have been cleared in favour of Sadbhav Infrastructure Project Limited at Bid Price of ₹1336 crore. 

Good Samaritan initiatives from the governments especially in the context of North East India are often not publicized well in the media.
