Washington: The long copyright battle over the "Happy Birthday" song - the world's most popular melody - may be over in the wake of a federal court ruling stating the song is a part of public domain, but the mystery behind the song's origin continues to develop.

Mumbai: EMI Pakistan has claimed copyright ownership over the lyrics and musical composition of a popularly known ghazal “Dil Dharhakne Ka Sabab Yaad Aaya”. The ghazal has been sung by Shafqat Amanat Ali in his recently released album “Muh Dikhai”.
