New Delhi : In view of the difficulties faced in search and rescue operations after an aircraft goes missing or meets with an accident, the DGCA has issued guidelines to all operators, in the form of Air Safety Circular, for real time tracking of aircrafts engaged in carrying  passengers and cargo from departure to arrival.

New Delhi : Director General Civil Aviation (DGCA) has issued, for the first time, Civil Aviation Requirements (CAR) for the medical examination of the cabin crew. The CAR prescribes the requirement of body mass index (BMI) and rules for disposal of high BMI cases in terms of overweight and obese cabin crew.
