This was higher than the price of US$ 105.84 per bbl on previous publishing day of April 30.
In rupee terms, the price decreased marginally to Rs.6385.58 per bbl on May 2 as compared to Rs.6386.39 per bbl on April 30.
This was due to decrease in price in dollar terms and rupee appreciation. Rupee closed stronger at Rs.60.23 per US$ on May 2 as against Rs.60.34 per US$ on April 30.
