Heads if state, senior officials, diplomats from more than 40 countries will be participating in the discussions at the global investors meet which was earlier scheduled to be held at Kolkatta.
The local bodies have been instructed to clear all roads and finish off all maintenance and repair work on main streets by January 15. Pravin Kumar told a meeting of officials that the road from the airport and the Yamuna Expressway should be clear of encroachments, dividers painted and the side roads and nullahs cleaned up.
For three days Agra will be in international news with the city playing host to top leaders and officials, once again 12 years after the Indo-Pak summit.
