The meeting was attended by the Home Minister Rajnath Singh, the External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj, the National Security Adviser, the Cabinet Secretary, the Foreign Secretary and other senior officials.

As per information available to the Government so far, the abducted Indian nationals are safe. The Government is making every effort to ensure their continued safety, and resolve the situation at the earliest.
