Prime Minister Modi appreciated and congratulated the award winners for their various achievements. On the occasion, he said that these awards offer an opportunity for recognition of talented kids, and serve as inspiration for others.

Prime Minister urged the extraordinarily gifted children to stay connected with nature and environment. He shared some informal moments with the kids who also requested him for autographs.

Women and Child Development ministry selected 26 children for Bal Shakti Puraskar under various categories such as innovation, scholastic, sports, arts and culture, social service as well as bravery from a total of 783 applications received for the Bal Shakti Puraskar this year.
