Indian Railways' Freight Rates, Passenger Fares Hike Put On Hold


This means that there shall be no revision or hike in Freight Rates and Passenger fares with effect from May 20.

Accordingly, the Railway Board commercial circular dated May 16 and freight rate circular are kept in abeyance till further advice.
