Sisodia is already a Limca record holder for his D Lit, as the oldest student of the university.

'Its a rare distinction and a unique one, as no one in any armed forces in the world, has been able to achieve this feat so far,' Sisodia claimed in an interview.

He retired from the Indian Air Force in 1990  after 25 years of service. Thereafter he began his  academic journey which continues. In 1991 he completed his law degree. He holds a PhD in psychology, in education and now a PhD in philosophy.

'My latest PhD is on the 'basic contribution of Osho in the field of philosophy of education,' Sisodia said, adding Osho 'in reality is much different rather more misunderstood and his image in public perception is faulty.'

The retired Air Force man says his academic feats are more valuable because of his rural background. 'I study and research because of my passionate attachment and devotion to academics, without expectation of any reward or remuneration. I hope my work will motivate other ex-army personnel who after retirement should engage themselves in creative or academic pursuits to lead a fuller and more satisfying life.'

Talking about his research on Osho's philosophy of education, Sisodia said 'according to Osho, the educational process of a child began with conception in the mother's womb. This therefore makes parental genes the crucial factor in the education of a child. The implication is that we should focus on the education of parents. Educated and aware parents will beget intelligent children.'

Osho's stress on education for death, in preparation for the ultimate yatra towards life hereafter, has to be understood in the proper context and practised by all. 'Preparation for death is as important as preparation for life. Osho in fact has spoken of death as no one before him as done.'

Sisodia clarified that the general perception of Osho as an advocate of free sex needs to be understood fully and in the spirit that the master explained. 'Hunger for sex was as powerful an instinct as for food. Encounter reality in its naked majesty.'

Osho is relevant even today, may be in parts but the general perception of him is selective, extremist and partisan. He was logical to the extreme and perhaps the most controversial thinker of our age, Sisodia added.
