Aligarh: Mangalayatan University felicitated Tabassum, a social worker from Aligarh for her extra ordinary and encouraging real life character.  

  Mumbai: Shriji Arvind Singhji Mewar of Udaipur, Chairman and Managing Trustee of the Maharana of Mewar Charitable Foundation (MMCF) in Udaipur, became the first Indian man to receive the VIII WT Institution Award for 2012 at the General Assembly of United Nations headquarters in New York.

Do you think money spent on celebrations like the Janakpuri Ayojan can be used for other socially relevant projects that can be of lasting value to our city: like dispensaries, school-care, homes for destitute, landscaping and beautifying ugly patches, etc.
