New Delhi: Union Minister for Water Resources Uma Bharti and Urban Development Minister M Venkaiah Naidu launched Smart Ganga City Scheme in 10 important cities through video conference. 

New Delhi: The Union Cabinet chaired by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi has given its approval for Motor Vehicle (Amendment) Bill 2016. 

New Delhi: The Cabinet Committee on Parliamentary Affairs recommended convening of Monsoon session of Parliament this year from July 18 till August 12 subject to exigencies of government business. This was informed by the Minister of Parliamentary Affairs M. Venakaiah Naidu to media persons after the meeting of CCPA, held soon after the Cabinet meeting.

New Delhi: Union Cabinet chaired by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi has approved the implementation of the recommendations of 7th Central Pay Commission on pay and pensionary benefits.  It will come into effect from January 1, 2016.

Chandigarh: Prime Minister Narendra Modi celebrated the second International Day of Yoga here, where he joined approximately 30,000 participants in a mass Yoga demonstration.

New Delhi: On the occasion of the “International Yoga Day” on 21st June, Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan will, in collaboration with over a dozen noted social organizations, hold 1,00,260 Yoga programmes at different centres across the country, out of which 10 regional level mega events will be hosted by major cities of Varanasi, Imphal, Jammu,Vadodara, Lucknow, Bengaluru, Vijayawada, Bhubaneshwar, Shimla and Hoshiarpur.
