Tyre Burst Again On Yamuna Expressway, 2 Killed

Seven people have died in the past incidents due to tyre bursting.

Police said the tractor with two laborers was returning from Ghaziabad to Mathura. Ramji Lal and Lal Singh fell off when the tyre suddenly burst and the iron sheets came on them. The driver Ram Dayal was seriously injured.

With incidents of tyre bursting occurring at regular intervals, question marks are now being raised about the advisability of constructing cemented roads. Though nothing can as yet be said with finality about the probable causes for tyre bursting, motorists are being advised to check their tyres before they take to the Yamuna Expressway.
