Agra: Union Minister of State for Health Prof SP Singh Baghael filed his nomination papers from the Agra city constituency. Four others filed nomination papers at the Agra Collectorate on Monday.
Baghael expressed confidence about his victory, citing “good work done by the BJP under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership.” He promised to fulfil all the promises made in the past and work for "Viksit Bharat".
Meanwhile, a BJP rebel Rameshwar Choudhary, son of the BJP legislator Babu Lal from Fatehpur Sikri (Agra rural) filed his nomination papers as an independent candidate. BJP's Raj Kumar Chahar is the official candidate.
Also to file his 99th nomination papers today is Hasnu Ram Ambedkari, as an independent. On Tuesday he will file his 100th nomination paper from Fatehpur Sikri.
