SM Vaidya Receives Rajbhasha Kirti Award


On the Occasion a commendation certificate was also presented to Dr. VD Gautam, Senior Manager (Hindi, CC & CSR) Secretary, TOLIC, Mathura.

The Official Language Department, Ministry of Home Affairs has instituted the ‘Rajbhasha Kirti Award’ for propagation of official language amongst the Ministries / Central Govt. Offices / Boards / Autonomous bodies / Trusts / Societies / Banks / PSUs of India. The awards are presented annually to organizations/institutions for doing excellent work in various areas of Hindi implementation activities of Govt. of India. TOLICs, Mathura has done excellent work among TOLICs working in Hindi Speaking States and has achieved Ist place among them. 

TOLIC, Mathura was constituted in the year 1985. At present there are 53 members comprising Central Govt. offices, PSUs, Banks, etc from Mathura Town.

While addressing the gathering President urged the gathering to use simple Hindi in day to day official communications and public dealings. Rajnath Singh, Home Minister, emphasized on the use of information technology for proper propagation of Official Language in Offices. Kiren Rijiju, Home Minister for State, said that Hindi is spoken and understood in remote corner of the country and its use to be increased in the offices through computers. Anoop Kumar Srivastava, Secretary, OL Department highlighted the achievements of its Department for progressive use of Hindi amongst the Central Government offices.
