Preliminary reports said the deceased identified as Guddo of Nai Basti, was done to death after a bout of booze with his friends Hasan and Akeel, also shoe workers.
Police said the actual cause of his death would be known only after the post mortem report.
Family members informed the police that 32 year old Guddu had left the house at 9pm. When he did not return a hunt was launched. Saturday morning some people saw a dead body lying in a nullah and informed the police.
Akeel is in police custody but Hasan is absconding.
