Refresher Courses Organized By UGC In AMU


 

 He emphasized the impact of education and syllabus in shaping the young minds and cited his own example how he was fed on nationalistic and patriotic course contents at the AMU school in 1940s. He congratulated the participants on completing the Refresher Courses in Women’s Studies and English.

 

 Prof. AR Kidwai, Director, UGC Academic Staff College, AMU exhorted the course participants to articulate and transmit the message of co-existence and national integration as embodied in the Aligarh Muslim University. He wished them the very best in their professional career as excellent teachers.

 

 Prof. Shireen Moosvi, Director, Centre for Women’s Studies and Dr. Samina Khan, Dept. of English were the Course Coordinators of the two courses respectively.  

Renu Mahajan Gupta, Assam, Dr. Malika Mistry, Maharashtra and Shariful Islam, Assam expressed their happiness over the course content and the presentation of teachers. More than 85 teachers from various universities and college all over India attended these courses.
