Rajnath Singh asked Ministry of Home Affairs to co-ordinate and integrate efforts escalating its involvement in tackling the Left Wing Extremism in the affected states.

Raman Singh, Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh, Kiren Rijiju, MoS (Home), and representatives of Planning Commission, Intelligence and Security agencies, DoT, Ministry of Surface Transport, Ministry of Environment and Forest were present in the meeting.
