The freight carried shows an increase of 41.63 million tonnes over the freight traffic of 911.44 million tonnes actually carried during the corresponding period last year.
During the month of February, the revenue earning freight traffic carried by Indian Railways was 86.93 million tonnes. There is an increase of 3.32 million tonnes over the actual freight traffic of 83.61 million tonnes carried by the Indian Railways during the same period last year.
