Sir, we take this opportunity to request you to initiate steps to change the name of the local main city railway station from RAJA KI MANDI to TAJ CITY railway station.

 Raja ki Mandi is a feudal nomenclature and needs to be changed urgently. Most first time visitors to Agra get confused by the name of the main railway station.

 The Taj Mahal being a world heritage monument and the “Shaan” of whole of India, deserves a railway station named after it. We have Agra Fort railway station, but no Taj City railway station.

 This will be a major gift from the new railway station to the people of Agra.
