He said that many faculty members received national and international fellowships for their academic excellence and published research papers in reputed national and international journals.

AMU Registrar, Prof. VK Abdul Jaleel said that this is the only building which was sanctioned under XI Plan and has been completed in time. This is due to hard work of building department and appreciated the efforts of University Engineering, Firoz Ahmed.

In his presidential address, Professor Azis said that this is a joyous occasion for the students and staff of JN Medical College and Dental College that three construction projects were complete. He said that the University has provided toilets for girls in each department of study. He said that 250 computers with high-speed internet connectivity were provided to each hall of residence and the department of studies for the use of students.

Prof. Azis explained that technology driven security system was essential to provide the security environment to students and faculty members. He said that the University respects the fundamental rights of the individuals.

On this occasion, Prof. S. Abrar Hasan, Dean, Faculty of Medicine, Prof. Ashraf Malik, Principal, JN Medical College and Prof. Pervez Mustajab, Controller of Exams also addressed the function.
