Ranjit Sama, producer of the film told Samiksha Bharti News Service "Bhoot dot com is a horror film complicated by a murder mystery in a coaching centre. The lead film actor is a researcher summoning dead souls."

Sama has produced several films, two being fairly popular ‘Jai Karauli Mata’ and ‘Crazy Girls’.

Sama said 90 percent of the artistes will be local. Dilip Tahir has written the lyrics and ‘Indian Idol’ Fame Tejinder Singh is the singer.

Gahna Vashisht who has acted in some Telegu films, is in the lead role while the hero is Sunny Pahuja. The film is being directed by Irfan Choudhary.

Local boy Chanchal Upadhyaya has sung the soulful "Zameen chahiye na aasmaan chahiye, tere kadmon mein mera ashiana chahiye."
