Locals Criticised Rakhi Sawant Who Said Agra Roads Were Better Than In America

Agra which recently came 263 in ranking out of 400 cities, is known for its bad roads and heaps of garbage everywhere, said Shravan Kumar Singh, a social activist. "It is not clear whether Rakhi was poking fun or did she seriously believe the roads in Taj city were better than in America." Another social activist Jyoti Vishal Jha said "Rakhi was rubbing salt on our wounds."

Rakhi Sawant alongwith Gulshan Grover had come to Agra to open an acting institute in which her brother Rakesh is a partner.

Rakhi after a visit to the Taj Mahal said she would be returning soon to shoot a remix of the popular song "Jo Vayda kiya wo nibhana padega."

In response to a question by a reporter Rakhi said Agra roads were good, in fact better than in America. She congratulated UP chief minister Yogi Adityanath for taking the state forward.
