Police said investigations were on, "so far the motives of the crime are unclear."

Inspector Taj Ganj Thana said the assailants were on a mobike.

 Deepak Kashyap had been in news for quite some time, for claiming to heal people's diseases through his self developed therapy.

 Two days back he moved into a rented accommodation from New Agra to Taj Nagri phase-2 apartment.

The land-lord told the police, Deepak was accompanied by two girls and a boy. As they were just shifting luggage inside, two persons on a mobike came and opened fire. Deepak fell on the ground, was transferred to a nearby private hospital, where he died after a couple of hours.

Deepak had been released on bail four months ago, for some dispute over a land deal.
