In rupee terms also, the price of increased to Rs.6474.73 per bbl on April 16 as compared to Rs.6418.90 per bbl on April 15.
This was due to increase in price in dollar terms and rupee appreciation. Rupee closed stronger at Rs.60.23 per US$ on April 16 as against Rs.60.26 per US$ on April 15.
