In rupee terms also, the price decreased to Rs.6453.41 per bbl on April 17 as compared to Rs.6474.73 per bbl on April 16.
This was due to decrease in price in dollar terms and rupee depreciation. Rupee closed weaker at Rs.60.38 per US$ on April 17 as against Rs.60.23 per US$ on April 16.
