It moved north-northwestwards and intensified into a deep depression around midnight and further intensified into a cyclonic storm 'NANAUK' at 0530 hrs IST on Wednesday. It lay centered at 0830 hours IST, the June 11th over eastcentral Arabian Sea near latitude 16.70 N and longitude 67.00 E, about 670 km west-southwest of Mumbai, 590 km south-southwest of Veraval and 960 km east-southeast of Masirah Island (Oman).(Read In Hindi: मध्यपूर्व अरब सागर पर चक्रवाती तूफान 'ननौक')
It would intensify further into a severe cyclonic storm during next 24 hrs. It would move west-northwestwards towards Oman coast during next 120 hrs.
