This was higher than the price of US$ 107.09 per bbl on previous publishing day of May 15.
In rupee terms, the price decreased marginally to Rs.6326.86 per bbl on May 16 as compared to Rs.6368.64 per bbl on May 15.
Rupee closed stronger at Rs.58.86 per US$ on May 16 as against Rs.59.47 per US$ on May 15.
