This was lower than the price of US$ 106.02 per bbl on previous publishing day of May 5.
In rupee terms, the price decreased marginally to Rs.6342.67 per bbl on May 6 as compared to Rs.6366.50 per bbl on May 5.
Rupee closed weaker at Rs.60.20 per US$ on May 6 as against Rs.60.05 per US$ on May5.
