In rupee terms, the price decreased marginally to Rs.6366.50 per bbl on May 5 as compared to Rs.6385.58 per bbl on May 2.
This was due to decrease in price in dollar terms and rupee appreciation. Rupee closed stronger at Rs.60.05 per US$ on May 5 as against Rs.60.23 per US$ on May 2.
