The Udhampur – Katra new railway line, which was dedicated to the nation by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 4th July, is a part of ambitious 326 Kilometer long Udhampur- Katra-Quazigund- Srinagar -Baramulla Railway Line (USBRL) Project of Northern Railway and will provide seamless flow of rail traffic through Jammu to Katra via Udhampur through the entire Indian Railways network.

New Delhi: The World Heritage Committee has inscribed the Great Himalayan National Park Conservation Area (GHNPCA), India, on the World Heritage List on the basis of criterion (x) of UNESCO Guidelines.
