Just when a Swiss pilot's solar powered aircraft mesmerised the world by setting a record of longest solo flight without a drop of fuel, India’s solar energy ambitious plans are set to leap frog. The Centre has revised cumulative targets under National Solar Mission from 20,000 MW by 2021-22 to 1,00,000 MW- a quantum jump.

New Delhi: Fulfilling yet another commitments of the Railway Budget 2015-16, the Minister of Railways Suresh Prabhakar Prabhu inaugurated three passenger amenity projects namely, NGeT (Next Generation e-Ticketing) Hindi Website, Paperless Unreserved Ticketing through Mobile Phones for Mumbai suburban (Western Railway Network) and Destination Alert Service in Rajdhani and Duronto through SMS at a programme held at Rail Bhawan on Wednesday. New Delhi: Suvidha Train is being started from 13th July between Gorakhpur and Anand Vihar (Delhi) by Indian Railway. The booking for this train has started from July 8. This train will run from 13th to 30th July. (Read in Hindi: गोरखपुर एवं दिल्‍ली के बीच पहली सुविधा ट्रेन 13 से)

New Delhi: Income Tax Department has released the software for preparing the Income Tax Return forms 1- SAHAJ, 2, 2A and 4S- SUGAM for AY 2015-16. The e-filing of these return forms has been enabled on the e-filing website- Incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in.

India, which had a global share of 2.4 per cent in trade at the time of independence, dropped to a mere 0.7 per cent in 1991 because of inward looking policy of self-reliance and exporting only the surplus.
