Awareness Programme Organized On World Cancer Day


 

 A drama was conducted by the staff of the department to show the public about the ill-effects of tobacco and other factors. The students of school of nursing also participated in the programme by their display of posters on various types of cancer & its causative agents.

 

 The programme was jointly inaugurated by Prof. M. Ashraf Malik, Principal and CMS and Prof. S. Abrar Hasan, Dean, Faculty of Medicine. 

 

 Prof. SA Siddiqui, Chairman of the department briefed the public of the incidence, causative factors, Prevention and management of various of cancer as most of the cancers are easily preventable.

 

The department also distributed pamphlets regarding the cancers to spread the message about detection, prevention and management.
