Annual Function At Girls’ Senior Secondary School Held


 

 He said that the world has become more constructive and we should imbibe multi-skilled personality.

 

 He urged the Female Educational Association to come forward and galvanize the energy to create a corpus fund for the promotion of female education.

 

 Prof. Azis said that the University has prepared a master plan for its schools to track their rejuvenation. He said that the AMU is one of the top ten institutions of the country busy in research activities to attain academic excellence.

 

 He said that the two new centres of University will start functioning by the end of this month providing educational facilities to MBA an BALLB students at Murshidabad and Malappuram.

 

 AMU Registrar, Prof. VK Abdul Jaleel graced the function as Guest of Honour.

 

Naghma Irfan, Principal, Senior Secondary School (Girls) said that the school is quite perkily moving towards its goal and it has achieved 96.64% result in Class XII. Payal Gupta topped by securing 91.75% marks, Eram Nahid stood second with 89.7% marks and Neha Jaiswal secured third position with 88.7% marks.

 

She further said that the school has also been upfront in the area of competitive examinations as only 7 girls of this school succeeded in cracking MBBS last year while this year the number of successful students in MBBS entrance increased to 16 and one girl was admitted to BDS. Further, seven girls went through MBBS and five BDS in CPMT. Payal Gupta got selected in IIT this year in addition to other 25 who cleared B. Tech entrance and 6 in B. Arch. of AMU. Two students have made it for AIEEE and eleven succeeded in cracking B. Tech. of UPTU.

 

Prof. Suraiyya Husain, President of the Female Education Association presented Papa Mian Padma Bhushan Award to Ayesha Zainab Beg for the Best All Rounder of Class XII and MJ Haider Memorial Award to Hira Ateeq.

 

AMU Vice Chancellor presented Bhattacharya Award to Zainab Javed, Nikhat Shahwar Husain Award to Areeba Khan and Nida Khan Memorial Award to Kahkashan. Nigar Qasim conducted the annual function and Tafzeel A. Khan proposed a vote of thank.
