The award has been presented to Prof. Najam Khaleeq in a function by Yoganand Shastri of Delhi Assembly. Prof Khaleeq received a citation, memento and shawl in award. He has been honoured for his commendable contributions made in the field of medical education. The award has been bestowed upon Prof. Khaleeq on the occasion of 123rd birth anniversary of former President of India Late Dr. S. Radhakrishnan in a function held in the Constitution Hall, New Delhi jointly by the All India Swatantra Patrakar Aevam Lekhak Sangh and National Child and Women Development Charitable Trust.

Prof. Najam Khaleeq is teaching in the Department of Community medicine since last twenty years. He was nominated for the award in consideration of his documented contribution in the field of medical education in UP. He is also Medical Superintendent of Jawahar Lal Nehru Medical College.
