Agra Police To Use Drones To Monitor Traffic And Keep Vigil On Criminals

UP government has decided to provide drone cameras in 12 districts. Agra is the first one. SP Traffic Rajesh Kumar said around ₹10 lakhs are being spent to develop the infrastructural arrangements to operate the drone assisted system. It will now be possible to keep a watch on political processions.

The drone camera would be able to cover city areas, with a battery backup of 40 to 45 minutes.

A demonstration was given recently for the local officials from Paliwal Park to Agra Fort, at a height of around 400 metres, officials said.
