Agra: The Agra Metro Rail Corporation conducted a successful anti-terror mock drill at the Taj Mahal Metro Station, in collaboration with the Security Staff and SSF personnel. The drill aimed to assess the security preparedness and response of the staff in case of a terrorist attack.
During the exercise, a suspect was identified, and the security team swiftly responded by activating emergency alarms and making announcements to evacuate the station. The security forces then apprehended the suspect, and the station was safely cleared.
The mock drill was part of UPMRC's regular training exercises to ensure the safety and security of metro commuters. Similar drills are conducted frequently to prepare staff for various scenarios, including fire safety, earthquakes, and terror attacks.
By conducting these exercises, UPMRC ensures that its staff is well-equipped to handle emergencies effectively, prioritizing passenger safety and security.
