State BJP president Keshav Maurya said the BJP by winning more than 265 seats would form the next government in UP.

Local BJP legislators Jagan Prasad Garg, Yogendra Upadhyaya and other senior leaders said in a statement that defection of Kundanika Sharma would not make any difference to the party.
