Seminar On Heritage And Tourism Held At Taj



Delegates presented their research papers in technical session.

Inaugural function of the Seminar was at Eastern Dalan of Taj Mahal complex on April 16.

Function was inaugurated by Chief Guest Justice Dharm Veer Sharma, State Law Commission, Uttarakhand. Rajiv Narain, President, Tourism Guild of Agra was the Guest of Honour and presided over the function inaugurated the Photo Exhibition “Great Personalities and Taj Mahal mounted by ASI, Agra Circle.

In the exhibition, photographs of VVIPs and VIPs who have visited the Taj Mahal from time to time. Prof Manjula Chaudhary, Director, Indian Institute of Travel & Tourism Management, Gwalior delivered Key Note address on Tourism & Heritage.

ID Dwivedi, Superintending Archaeologist, Archaeological Survey of India delivered Welcome address and welcomed the Guests and delegates.

Dr. Kanchan Singh, Chief Horticulturist, Archaeological Survey of India was on the dias and addressed the function.

Students from Lalit Kala Sansthan, Agra performed Kathak and Oddissi dance.

During the function, the Souvenir of the Seminar and another book edited by Dr. Lavkush Mishra and Dr. Gautam of ITHM, was released by the Chief Guest and other Guests.
