The Department of Microbiology will finally analyze the data to establish what are the common bacteria responsible for infection after surgical procedures.

Zahid, Department of Orthopaedic Surgery, Dr. Shoeb Zaheer, Department of Medicine, Dr. Shaheen, Department of Gynaecology, Dr. Abu Nadeem, In-charge, ICU and Nursing Superintendent emphasized the need for cleanliness and washing of wards twice a week and cleaning of labor rooms and Operation Theatres every day before closing. The committee decided that all the nurses, doctors, students and other paramedical staff should be vigilant about the cleanliness and demonstration classes will be organized to sensitize and train the Safai staff of the JN Medical College and Hospital.
It was also decided in the meeting that there will be a definite Hospital antibiotic policy according to the sensitivity of drugs. Prof. Abida Malik suggested that cheaper medicines should be prescribed to the patients as they provide equal cure to them.
