Dr. S. Ahmad, Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery said that nose deformities in cleft lip and palate patients are very common but such patients are usually left untreated due to one or other reason and live in the society with a feeling of inferiority complex. It is a grand opportunity for such patients that this department is organizing an Operations Week with the collaboration of Interplast, Germany.
Dr. Ahmad said that the cases operated earlier with next stage operation remaining and those operated elsewhere and not satisfied with the results, would also be considered. The treatment will be given free of cost. However, registration prior to treatment is mandatory. The registration of such patients will be made on February 15 and 22 in OPD of Dr. Ziauddin Ahmed Dental College.
The patients who have already registered their patients, need not to register again. However, any further query may be made with Dr. Kaleem (8791310987), Dr. Sharif (7895226585) and Dr. Ahmed (9411981399).
