Foreigners Learning Lessons Of Ahimsa In Mangalayatan University


They all are fascinated about the principles laid down by Jainism in achieving peace, social harmony and all round sustainable development of the world.

International School for Jain Studies, New Delhi has organized International Summer School for Jain Studies (10-15th June, 2012) in Mangalayatan University. All students reached MU campus on 10th June. Dr. Prashant Pal, Faculty Coordinator and Beenu Pal welcomed them by offering Aangavastram. Foreign students visited University campus and praised the efforts of University authority for maintaining high standards of education along with imparting spirituality.

Monday witnessed a brief lecture by Prof. Kamla Jain in two sessions for path of spiritual purifications, gunsthans and basis of ethics, anuvratas and mahavratas. Students asked different questions on application of Jain principles in daily life.
