It is more than 70 percent complete already, costing around Rs 30,000 and the students have given a demonstration, HOD Dhirendra Singh said about the project.
The guides Uddhav Dwivedi and Anurag Sharma told Agratoday.in, "the robot will be computer controlled with in-built GPS system for control and memorandum technology will be installed for tracing the path.
Prof BD Gupta, former director of the prestigious KNIT in Sultanpur, after watching the demo, said "the robot has great potential and should be patented."
The students said their robot would beef up the security and protection capabilities, minimising human power requirement and reducing potential threats.
