The Central Election Committee of the Bharatiya Janata Party met on Monday under the Presidentship of Rajnath Singh.

Meeting was attended by senior leaders LK Advani, M Venkaiah Naidu, Arun Jaitley and all the members of the CEC of the party.

The Committee also decided some other names for the ensuing Lok Sabha Elections in Tamil Nadu and Uttar Pradesh. These names include Bhairon Prasad Mishra, Karuappa M Muruganantham and AC Shanmugam.
