A Letter To Chairman TTZ For Revival Of The Braj Dham

10 Point Revival Plan For Braj Bhoomi

 1. Save Yamuna river, release water. Fix quota for Braj Mandal of Yamuna water. Right now all the water is being stopped and consumed by Delhi and Haryana. All they are leaving for is shit and piss, industrial effluents;

 2. Urgently increase the green cover, Braj Mandal had 12 Vans... Forests... Agra was Agravan... dense frontier forest.

 3. We need to save Braj heritage and conservation of temples, Van, Upvans, Kunds and monuments.

4. We need to urgently take up a ‘My Clean Braj’... a massive drive to clean up and spruce up the whole Braj Dham.

5. Drawing guidelines for future construction activities. The local ambience must be kept in mind when building plans are sanctioned by the Authority.

6. Development of civic infrastructure, for the permanent residents and for incoming visitors...

7. Discussion on the activities of foreign elements... the hype and reality. Obviously everyone can not be painted with the same brush. But after the "Porn-swamy episode" this calls for some amount of introspection. A fruitful interaction and continued vigilance needs to be exercised.

8. Feasibility and desirability of new urban projects to be studied in depth, the activities of civic bodies need to be monitored. All projects undertaken are not required or could be suitably tailor-made taking into account the local conditions.

9. A sustained and long term environmental plan for the whole Braj region.

10. A campaign to create awareness... to involve the locals in the return of the glory and pristine dignity of the religious-cultural and social history of the region.

Braj Mandal is roughly the same area of around 10,000 sq kilometers that forms the eco sensitive Taj Trapezium Zone which the Supreme Court wants saved...

Best regards
