The Students’ Chapter of ASME was also inaugurated at the college during the fest titled “Renaissance”.

 The fest proceeded with the preliminary round of general Quiz, ‘Crack it Out’ participated by a number of students from various branches. It was followed by a poster presentation competition. The preliminary round of another competition, Stratagem was held to bring forth the production management and team coordination skills of the students. The day ended with the first part of an exciting workshop on Human Powered Vehicles (HPVs), which was the main feature of the fest.

The programme was presided over by Dr. Hamid Ali, Dean, Faculty of Engineering and Technology. Prof. Pervez Mustajab, Controller Examinations, Aligarh Muslim University was the Chief Guest. The Principal, Zakir Husain College of Engineering and Technology, Prof. Ekram Hussain and Dr. Hamid Ali Khan enlightened the audience and congratulated the students on successful inauguration of the Students’ Cahpter of ASME in the college.
