Polling in the fourth phase of General Elections recorded an approximate voter turnout of 69.16 per cent.

A total of 695 candidates from eight states to contest elections in Phase 5 of the Lok Sabha Elections 2024. 1586 nominations were filed for 49 Parliamentary Constituencies going for polls in Phase 5.

The updated approximate voter turnout figures for polling in the third phase of the General Elections stand at 65.68 per cent. The same shall continue to be updated by the field level officers and will be available PC-wise live at VTR App.

The Election Commission of India has doubled up its voter participation interventions to overcome the small drop in turnout in the first two phases of Lok Sabha polls.
